HIDING HURTING HEALING A 10-week program presented by a team of women who have personal and ministry experience in issues of abuse under the direction of Rev. JoAnne Crosby. We use videos, DVDs, music, testimonies, instruction (200+ page notebook) and small group interaction with homework. The materials and experiences are designed to help women who are injured by painful relationships – past or present. The goal is to gain strength, meaning, worth, decisiveness, peace and overall victory in Christ. Some of the topics covered include: Make the decision to face the need to change - Surrender to Christ and relinquish our sin - Look at types of abuse and their consequences - Find your true identity in Christ - Explore anger biblically - Learn to prayerfully work through emotions - Look at submission through Scriptures - Extensively explore and pursue forgiveness - Work on writing healing letter under the direction of the Holy Spirit - Compassionately set boundaries in your life in order to obey Christ more fully - Explore the marvel of God’s Love – Abandoning the crutch of isolation to avoid pain. A $10. registration fee helps to cover cost of materials. Please make checks payable to “Seek Him Ministries” with "Hiding Hurting Healing" on the memo line. We maintain confidentiality. "What is said here, stays here". This program is open to all women regardless of church affiliation. |
